The Technotrend
countdown switch is a low cost, easy to use device which will improve
safety and electricity consumption in the home, workshop and office. The
TCS40 enables the user to deliver power for a fixed time period down to
5 minutes so that if potentially dangerous equipment such as electric
knives, deep fat fryers, slicers, irons etc are inadvertently left on
they will switch off automatically. The Countdown Switch helps reduce
fuel bills, electric heaters being particularly expensive to run.
