At the end of each day all computers, photocopiers, lights,
air conditioning and manufacturing equipment are turned off. Manufacturing
equipment is not turned on unless required and where applicable power-save
features are enabled. Computers are Energy Star compliant. |
| Identification of waste reduction opportunities. |
Technotrend
utilise electronic data transfer and storage to reduce paper usage. Manufacturing
practices are geared to reduce waste produced. |
Encourage
recycling and the use of recyclable packaging and materials for end products. |
Wherever
possible, scrap materials are removed by companies involved in the recycling
of materials such as paper, plastics, metals and manufacturing waste.
Packaging for the Technotrend range of products has been designed for
repeated use and minimised to reduce material consumption. |
