The TSS-500 simply plugs straight into an electrical socket, so there is no installation, no mess and no delay. The TSS-600 has a single lead which plugs into an electrical socket or is permanently wired to a fused connection and is simply held in a bracket, mounted on the wall, corner or ceiling with two screws. Strategically placed, for example in the entrance area, the intruder alarms guard the front door and access ways to other areas. The TSS-500 is portable so it can easily be moved from area to area, or building to building. It’s the system you can take with you so it’s also ideal for travel security in temporary locations, conference facilities and at exhibitions. The TSS-600 is designed for more permanent duty although it too has benefits as a portable system. The TechnoTrend TSS-500 and TSS-600 combine sophisticated features in a compact unit. The wide angle P.I.R. detector guards a large area (10m zone) and the in-built oscillating siren produces over 100dB, to deter even the most ardent intruder from completing their mission. Specification includes coded remote control via the handy key-fob sized control using infra-red communication. The operation incorporates time delayed set and de-set periods and auto reset after activation. The battery back-up retains all alarm functions during a power cut or disconnection and the siren continues to sound if the unit is unplugged. The system is easily expanded and can include several alarm units and controllers on a single matched code, so the units can be operated by any of the key-fob controllers.
